Figurative work

Since student days, I’ve been part of some great groups that focused on painting and drawing the figure — in DC, NYC, and especially LA. In LA, the “friends of Joe” gathered every week (and still do). Joe used to say, “artists learn from other artists … you all learn more from each other than from me.” Well, he was modest, and though I’m not sure that’s quite accurate, I sure learned a lot from them all. Lucky to join them from ~2005–11.
